Immersive Video Workshop @Fosforo, in Senigallia
Earlier this week I had the pleasure of leading an immersive video workshop in Senigallia, hosted by Fosforo a local science outreach association which organize and develops many interesting projects. The course was organized with remarkable care and effectiveness, bringing together a well-selected group of engaged and curious participants. We were welcomed in an informal, warm environment that immediately fostered openness, dialogue, and experimentation. Really impressive!
The workshop introduced participants to the creative and technical foundations of immersive media, exploring how 360° ancd 180° video, spatial sound, and expanded visual narratives can reshape the way we experience moving images.
Across hands-on sessions, we experimented with capture techniques and the expressive potential of non-linear audiovisual environments. The group worked through short practical exercises, developing small prototypes that connected new audiovisual narratives, artistic intuition with scientific and technological tools.
This experience highlighted once again how immersive media can become a space of exploration—where creativity, perception, and curiosity meet.
