I Remember – Digitali Immortali

Digital and personal memory in age of Social Network, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. 

The theme of personal and collective memory was explored through a workshop involving around fifteen students from the University of Turin – DAMS, the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts, and the Polytechnic University of Turin – Cinema Engineering program.

Together with the students, we spent a week selecting and analyzing the topic, with the goal of creating an immersive video project using mixed techniques: immersive video, 3D modeling and animation, and generative artificial intelligence.

The workshop took place in September 2025 at the University of Turin laboratories, with Vanessa Vozzo as artistic facilitator and myself as technical supervisor, with the valuable support of Luca Leli for the 3D production. It was a demanding project, but one that brought us great satisfaction — above all, the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of curious and highly motivated students.

I Remember was first presented on November 18, during an evening event at Punto Rec in Turin, then in December 2025 at the Mole Antonelliana, inside the VR rooms of the National Museum of Cinema during the Sottodiciotto Film Festival. It is currently being exhibited at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts as part of the ARWE Art Research World Expo (May 25–30, 2026).
