I nostri sogni
A heartfelt short film in VR 180° 3D, an intense experience bringing stories to life in VR.
I received a call from Riccardo Denaro in late spring 2023: he was working with a group of young people with various disabilities and had in mind a documentary, as well as an immersive version. We started discussing ideas immediately, and the project became a reality.
I was responsible for transforming a classic, linear short film into an immersive video—not just changing the language, but carefully maintaining full fidelity to the original story and pacing, while also exploring the possibilities of immersive storytelling.
I suggested working in VR 180 3D, and the result was beautiful. Given the special nature of this project, I must say it was an incredibly engaging experience—shot over three intense days, with many more spent in editing, 3D, post-production, and more.
“I nostri sogni” is therefore both a classic short film and a 180° immersive piece, produced by E-Live, Rai Cinema, and Motion Pixel.
